Why restaurants should embrace social media

Interesting post today by US direct marketing blogger Zachary Cohen on why (and how) restaurants should be using social media such as Twitter and Facebook to build a relationship with their customers.

I couldn't agree more. Along with monitoring and reacting to what is being said online about them (see last week's post "Everyone's a (food) critic"), engaging in a dialogue with patrons through the internet is a great way for restaurants to build loyalty.
