Who am I? Good question! A few random facts to get us started: I’m a journalist with a background in food and women’s lifestyle magazines. I regularly demolish a book a day and daydream about writing “The Great Australian Novel”. I’m a huge fan of
people watching (and making up back stories for them) but I try not to judge others. I love frocking up and punctuating the week with a Friday night drink (or two), even though I can’t wait to kick off my heels when I get home. I know my wines but don’t mind a quaffer. I love to cook, especially for friends, and am always keen to try that buzzing new hotspot or neighbourhood pizza joint.
I am a freelance journalist with 15+ years experience. I have previously worked on-staff for BBC Australian Good Food, Australian Table, Women’s Health, Cosmopolitan and SHE, and freelanced for titles including Epicurean, Readers Digest, Country Style, The Australian Women’s Weekly, Open House, CIM, Live This, Pure Health, Practical Parenting, Bride-to-be and Arts Craft International. I am a versatile writer with a talent for delivering accurate, relevant and engaging copy aimed at a targeted audience. My main areas of interest are food, health and nutrition, popular culture and lifestyle issues.
I also have extensive experience in producing content for and editing a variety of communications materials including press releases, company and product backgrounders, corporate blogs and websites, company newsletters, stand-alone brochures and magazines, book proposals, briefing notes for media spokespeople, and advertising and marketing materials.
